Build a place in one roll.
Choose the type of place, the city, how wealthy and how busy it is, and which factions are connected to it. Roll for a name and a description written for those choices, then edit anything you like.
Features / Locations and staff
Cities, locations and factions, linked together, with the people who work in them. Revisit the tavern a month later and everything is where you left it.

Yarmas's Hearth, an alehouse in Saltmere, is a sturdy, weather-stained building with a faded painted sign swinging over the door. Inside, low beams are hung with dried herbs and old lanterns, and the tables are crowded close together. A rack of clay pipes hangs by the hearth, each with a name scratched on the stem.
Suggest the usual staff for the kind of place, then build each person or pick someone you have already made. Mark someone as family of the owner and they share the last name and some traits.
Staff are hidden from players until you share them with Seen by.
Tip: build the owner, then the family, then everyone else. Then open the character cards to adjust the details.
Usually: Tavern keeper, Tavern server ×3, Cook
Group locations by city, link characters to the places they work, and pick the locations for each scene. When you choose a scene's characters, the people from that location come first.
Need a smithy or an inn right now? Pick a type, wealth and how busy it is, and get a name, a description and who usually works there.
